DEPYRO is the brand of pyrolysis stations built within the COMUNERGY network. Each station serves a municipality or region, converting secondary raw materials into valuable industrial products.
Industrial technology for the circular economy
DEPYRO technology uses thermal depolymerization to convert hard-to-recycle materials into valuable industrial products. The process is continuous, closed-loop and economically efficient.
Sorted plastics (PE, PP, PS) and end-of-life tyres (ELT) — materials that conventional mechanical recycling cannot process efficiently.
Pyrolysis oil — feedstock for the petrochemical industry (refineries, new plastics production) or alternative fuel. Represents the majority of output production.
Carbon black (material for the rubber and construction industries), process gas (used for the station's own operation), metals (recycling).
10–48 tonnes
Per unit (approx. 3,500–17,000 tonnes/year at 85% utilisation)
Continuous
Non-stop operation with closed material flow. Process gas is recirculated for the station's own heating.
400–450 °C
Low-temperature pyrolysis optimised for maximum oil yield.
Continuous monitoring
Remote supervision and service support ensure high equipment availability.
The technology is backed by a long-term service agreement with the manufacturer, including warranty, post-warranty support and spare parts supply.
Remote supervision of operating parameters enables early response to any technical condition and minimises downtime.
Complete training of local operators from the technology installation phase. The operations team is trained and ready before the start of live operations.
More than 70 technology installations worldwide. A demonstration line in the Czech Republic is available for visits and parameter verification.
Flexible capacity based on regional needs. Option to expand with additional units as available material volume grows.
DEPYRO stations primarily process sorted secondary raw materials outside the waste regime, which simplifies permitting. The solution is also adaptable for operation under the waste regime — in that case the permitting process takes longer.
Technology with worldwide deployment and a demonstration line in the Czech Republic.
